Vanessa Somerset's love for aromatherapy started at the age of 19, while experimenting with making soaps, body oils, and lotions in her mother's kitchen. She was frustrated with the amount of synthetic ingredients found in the majority of mainstream beauty and home fragrance products, so she decided to create a product that she would be comfortable using herself. This interest led her to become a Licensed Massage Therapist and a Full Specialist, and as a result, Sevansa Spa was born in 2007. She eventually found herself experimenting with making aromatherapy candles as well, and hasn't turned back since.

With an impressive resort spa work background, Vanessa desires to bring the nurturing aspect of her spa work experience to her products and uses only pure essential oils and botanicals, sourced from all over the globe, to scent each product. Each product is a mini-spa escape with each use.
